i have a toyota yaris 1.3 vvt-t colour collection with 16'' alloy wheels as standard.
I want to change the brakes myself but need to know what size discs to get.
Does anyone know how i would find this out - i have already called yaris and they just gave me the number for my local (far away) dealer.
i know i could take it to a garage and they could tell me by looking at it - but thats not an option as i work 9-7 and i dont want to pay for them to tell me that!
i have tried a toyota forum but i had restricted acess and couldnt post questions so i gave up.

well i'm assuming its a 2007, all that's available in after market is pads Akebono ACT1184 or Raybestos PGD1184C.....there are no listing for rotors...dealer only or look on high end performance web sightsHelp with size of toyota yaris brake discs?...?
you will only be able to get the front brake rotors from the dealer, only because its too new . if it was like 5years old then maybe you'll be able to get it from your local parts store . just to let you know the yaris has only one size for brake rotor for the front includes h/b and sedan since the yaris came out
If the guy at the parts store is asking you what size its because he does not have a listing for it in their computer system... hence its too new he's just covering any detail because he'll end up calling the dealer, pricing the rotor call you with a marked up price usually anywhere up to 25% above dealer $.Help with size of toyota yaris brake discs?...?
Go to the parts store and they will give you what you need and you don't need to know what size they are just make model and year.Help with size of toyota yaris brake discs?...?
if in doubt of size, buy both sizes and take them home. Fix the car with whatever size fits, then return the other to the store.
